Develop

So far, I have gathered footage and images of various Black British Artists, some from Tate Britain, some from the Black Cultural Archives and some from the internet. I've found video, sculpture, paintings, photographs and collage each of various styles and meanings. Considering what I’ve discovered in my research, rather than focusing on three main artists, it may be best to have my video cover several artists. Showing the audience how each explores their subject matter and themes could be more compelling if I cover more people. I’ve also now done several visual experiments and this and would allow for more of the techniques I experimented with to be employed. I still aim to create a short film focusing on the art and messaging of Black British Artists, but the project may now cover a broader scope. I have begun choosing which of the artworks I want to cover, and arranging the footage in editing software to get a clearer idea on what the video may look like. I've been adding to and altering a script to the video, as I feel narration will give a clearer narrative to the film and allow me to experiment with recording audio.
